Leading the Way in Protecting Critical Infrastructure

Virginia Grebbien, Parsons’ Chief of Staff, wrote an op-ed on the importance of protecting America’s critical infrastructure from cyberattacks. She notes that “state and municipal agency partnerships with private companies can offer government entities vastly expanded access to the new technologies and cutting edge know-how required to ensure that America’s critical infrastructure is ready and resilient should cyberattacks take place.”

Critical infrastructure is the backbone of our nation’s economy, security, and health.

Imagine a devastating cyberattack on America’s critical infrastructure. Electric grids, dams, mass transit systems and air traffic control centers are all vulnerable.”

Fortunately, Parsons has been building a full spectrum of cybersecurity solutions for the past 30 years. But having solutions and being allowed to employ them to their full potential are two separate things. Virginia makes a plea for municipal agencies to increase their collaboration with private entities like us to neutralize this ever-increasing threat.
